The full completion of the Ri Dong Expressway will end the history of our city without convenient access to the sea. Recently, the reporter learned from the city's transportation department that the construction of the Xinxiang Shandong Dongming Changyuan Yellow River Highway Bridge is progressing rapidly. Our provincial governor's Jinan Expressway and Shandong Province's eastern gateway to the sea will be completely opened.

　　On October 15, 2011, accompanied by bursts of firecrackers, the first bridge pier of the Dongming Changyuan Yellow River Highway Bridge in Shandong Province was laid in Wuqiu Township, Changyuan County, and the bridge officially entered the construction phase. The Dongming Changyuan Yellow River Highway Bridge in Shandong Province is connected to the Changji Expressway in the west and the Ridong Expressway in Shandong Province in the east. After the completion of the bridge, it will tightly connect the highway networks of Henan and Shandong provinces, achieving connectivity between port cities such as Qingdao and Rizhao and the vast area of northern Henan. The bridge is 15 kilometers long and is the longest bridge on the Yellow River. The width of the bridge and roadbed is about 28 meters, and the entire line is constructed according to the standard of a two-way four lane expressway. The design speed is about 120 kilometers per hour, and the planned construction period is 4 years. The bridge is built on the Yellow River beach area, where the soil is soft and mainly composed of clay, which is prone to "soil liquefaction" due to vibration and water immersion factors. To enhance the bearing capacity of the bridge, the foundation of the bridge needs to be lowered to a certain depth. The bridge adopts domestic seismic measures, with a seismic level of 8, ensuring the goal of small earthquakes being harmless, medium earthquakes being repairable, and large earthquakes not collapsing.

　　Our unit undertakes the task of erecting beams for standard 4. There are a total of 276 box girders in 4 sections. The installation started in August 2015. In August, a Bolivian client visited our Dongming construction site and signed a production and installation contract for the bridge erecting machine with us.
